Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania was founded in 1847 and is one of the country’s first Catholic universities. They are a valued, long time client we continue to expand our relationship with. We began working with SFU on their Annual Fund campaigns in 2011. Then in 2014, we began managing social media content for their Alumni pages and accounts. For the 2017-2018 academic year, we implemented a new strategy designed to establish brand awareness and good faith with potential future donors as well as foster donations from current engagers.

Our strategy included a content schedule that combined information and news the university wanted to communicate as well as content that would entice alumni to participate and engage. Fresh visuals utilized the university’s updated brand identity while communicating quickly and easily with alumni. Through our unique blend of paid content and supplemental posting, we were able to increase visibility and engagement.

The results showed an increase in metrics that were important to our goals. This included reach and impressions, which were meant to get the SFU brand in front of more potential donors. It also included engagement, meant to keep alumni actively participating in the community, making them more likely to give. Organic reach increased by 182%, impressions by 192%, and engagement by 407%. Not only was this great for brand awareness, but led to more qualified donors and more efficient ad spends.
